Solution Architecture & Delivery Lead
Who we are looking for
Asset Servicing technology is looking to hire a senior technology delivery leader to create strategic solutions, and drive programs within the Data and Information delivery space in a global operating model. This is a technology leadership position seeking someone with proven record of technology project execution with ability to get hands on when it comes to analysis design and execution, someone with creativity and self-motivation to delivery on mission critical projects.
Due to the role requirements this job needs to be performed primarily in the office with some flex work opportunities available.
What you will be responsible for
• Lead solution design with a diverse set of State Street, our Client and our vendor teams.
• Responsible for driving execution for key projects in a timely and cost effective manner
• Be the subject matter expert for multiple technology-business functions
• Collaborate with the stakeholders to translate business objectives into technology Vision, Strategy and Roadmap for the State Street Data Platform
• Make effective recommendations to build an organizational model that can effectively serve high quality delivery and ensure the communication between the functions is seamless
• Eliminate divisive thinking and champion unity in delivering objectives. Be a catalyst in driving cultural integration ensuring the local team thinks global while acting local.
• Retain accountability for the overall performance of the team
• Be a strong advocate of HR policies and procedures ensuring all employees adhere to the core values and the operating culture
• Promote the culture of risk excellence in people, process and technology aspects. Ensure self and team anticipates, monitors, actively manages and reports all risk and compliance issues, breaches and suspicious activities
• Promote diversity and inclusion, providing transparency in organizational work activities
• Ensure talent planning, management and related supporting deliverables including but not limited to - succession planning, critical role identification, coaching and diversity hiring are done with the partnership of both global functional managers and HR
• Lead and participate in client meetings, presentations, and conferences as required
• Establish and monitor an effective oversight framework to ensure that issues are appropriately identified, escalated and resolved.
• Establish and nurture a culture of individual ownership of tasks to embed a clear individual sense of accountability into staff members' behavior in performing their roles
What we value
These skills will help you succeed in this role
• 20 + years of related experience, with experience working in global locations in Financial Services Industry
• Deep functional knowledge of the financial industry, preferably in Investment Servicing, Asset Servicing & Data Management and Delivery
• Ability to manage large, diversified teams spread across multiple locations or regions and distributed workforce (Employee and IT vendors)
• Experience in executing projects on modern technology, cloud native delivery is a must have. Should have good understanding of DevOps and emerging technologies.
• Good technology capabilities, should be able to participate in technology strategic discussions and provide direction
• Should have excellent communication skills, fluent in English written and oral
• Should have experience in delivering large scale, complex and transformational projects.
• Should have experience in Distributed Agile and Lean practices.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree level qualification in a computer or IT related subject.
• Work experience in multiple geographies and client/customer facing roles is an added advantage
• Experience with Agile software development, highly configurable systems and leading testing techniques
• Demonstrated experience leading large transformational programs; preferably within a leading consulting firm

Salary Range:
$140,000 - $222,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
